Logs – Bulk Bags
We can offer loose logs, delivered in 1 tonne capacity bags. These bags are an ideal way of having a large quantity of logs delivered conveniently. After use the bags are yours to keep, ideal for garden waste and compost. Or if you prefer, return the bags to us on your next delivery.
Bulk Bags Logs – (Approximately a cubic metre of logs)

Benefits of Bulk Bags:
– Can be placed under a covered area.
– Moved relatively easily.
– Have a lid to protect logs from the elements.
– No need to stack your logs if you don’t want to.
Vented Bulk Bags
On request we can supply vented bulk bags at no extra cost, these bulk bags are far more suitable if you plan to store your logs in the bags, they also have a lid and the increased air flow prevents mould growth.
All our firewood is cut from 3 metre lengths on the farm using a Dalen 2054 firewood processor, which enables us to maintain consistency. Logs come at a standard 10 inches other lengths are available on request.
Delivery
Deliveries of loose loads and bulk bags are made using our purpose built tipping vehicle the size of which is the same as a standard sized 4×4.
Anywhere that we can get the vehicle to we can tip your logs. If the access is tight or difficult please ensure that you are home for the delivery to ensure an easier drop.
Log Stacking Service
We provide a stacking and handling service.
There is a charge of £15 per load to stack your logs provided that we can get the vehicle to the log store to off load.
We charge a fee of approximately £20 for stacking loads that require use of a wheel barrow, the price will vary for loads that need transporting further distances.
Please Note:
Our ash loads are suitable for instant use the day they are delivered as ash is a unique wood in that surface water I.e rain rarely effects its performance as a firewood. The hardwood mix and soft wood loads are more affected by damp/wet conditions and if they are subjected to rain during delivery and the storage process they may need storage for up to 2 weeks for you to achieve optimum performance. During winter months we can not guarantee dry wood as we can not control the weather. That’s why we urge all our customers to try and buy their logs well in advance to avoid being caught short.
